Assistant Manager - Leisure On Ground Ops

About the job:

The role holder is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of leisure tours and activities. This role ensures smooth and efficient ground operations, delivering high-quality services to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor service delivery standards and report any shortfall to line manager, highlighting complaints and any remedial action taken.
  • As the first point of contact for customer complaints, review and investigate those that arise and ensure regular progress updates are provided to the customer.
  • Suggest ideas to improve operation and product lines to enable the business to be an innovative market leader (i.e., new and improved products, efficiency improvements, revenue generation ideas and cost reduction opportunities etc.).
  • Monitor competitors on the ground and communicate changes to line managers to enable benchmarking of products against those of other DMC’s.
  • Develop strong relationships with both our internal and external partners to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.
  • Provide great service at any of our guest touch points.
  • Provide logistical support for any large conference/incentive projects from conception to completion and as required coordinate the project independently or delegate as appropriate whilst still maintaining the overall responsibility for the operational aspects of the project.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of customer data in compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Adhere to work and accommodate business requests/requirements including (but not limited to) flexible locations and working hours.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Measure customer feedback.

Profile requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the same field.
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • A ‘multi-tasker’ proficient at managing consecutive ongoing projects.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communications skills in Arabic, English at a business proficiency level.
  • Positive & professional attitude and approach to business.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Diplomatic and tactful in handling difficult situations.
