About The Job :
The role holder will be responsible for handling all the Reporting and Statutory duties in the Group.
Responsabilites :
- Prepare and finalize Financial statements.
- Prepare and provide schedules to auditors for all balance sheet related items (intercompany recons, prepaid amortization, Fixed assets schedule, bank recon etc).
- Support & manage audit related matters for Egypt entities through liaising with group controlling team in KSA.
- Support preparation of financial guideline (GL, ageing, etc).
- Prepare required manual JVs re. audit and statutory adjustments.
- Prior experience in the industry of coordinating with external auditors and tax officers.
Profile Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting or related field.
- Master’s degree in Finance / Accounting is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as ACCA.
- Preferably having big 4 or mid-tier firms historically with tax and audit background.
- Prior working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/ Oracle) is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with at least 2-3 years in a similar role.
- Advanced Level of F&A competence.
- Knowledge of SAP systems and finance modules.
- Strong drive towards customer satisfaction.
- Sound organizational skills.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and scenario analysis.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Online Travel core business and business processes.
- Fluent written and spoken English essential.
- Fluent written and spoken Arabic is an advantage.
