As a QA Engineer at Rewaa, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This is a hybrid role where you will be involved in both manual and automation testing. You will be expected to oversee manual testing efforts, develop and execute comprehensive test plans, and create and maintain automation scripts. Your work will directly impact the performance and user experience of our platform, helping us deliver top-notch solutions to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Exploratory Testing Expertise: Demonstrate exceptional ability in exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues by simulating real-world scenarios and user behaviors, ensuring our software meets all practical use cases.
- Deep Diving Capabilities: Ability to dive deep into new features, providing critical feedback from a user's perspective to enhance product quality and user satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance Leadership: Lead testing initiatives by crafting detailed test cases and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of all product features.
- Automation Script Development: Create and debug automation scripts.
- Performance Testing: Translate non-functional requirements into performance test scripts.
- Automation Tools: Utilize test automation tools such as Selenium, RestAssured, and Appium.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends and best practices. Continuously improve the application codebase by incorporating new technologies and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
- Experience: 4+ years of experience
- Tech Stack: Java, Selenium, RestAssured, Appium, Git
- AWS Services: aws code build, aws pipelines
- Problem-solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. Ability to optimize application performance and address security risks.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Continuous Learning: Passion for staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Willingness to continuously learn and implement new technologies and techniques
