The Talent Manager, with specialization in Onboarding, Immigration, Visas, and Culture is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new employees, particularly those relocating from other countries. This role combines traditional onboarding responsibilities with expertise in immigration processes, visa requirements, and cultural integration to support our diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding Coordination:
- Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to welcome new employees.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure all necessary resources and information are provided to new hires.
- Conduct orientation sessions and training for new employees to familiarize them with company policies, procedures, and culture.
- Immigration and Visa Management:
- Manage the end-to-end process of securing work visas and permits for international employees.
- Liaise with legal and immigration advisors to ensure compliance with local and international immigration laws.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on visa applications, renewals, and related documentation.
- Cultural Integration:
- Develop and deliver cultural awareness programs and resources to help international employees integrate smoothly into the local culture.
- Organize events and activities that promote cultural exchange and understanding within the workplace.
- Offer ongoing support and counseling to international employees to address any cultural adaptation challenges.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of employee immigration and visa documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to employment and immigration.
- Monitor changes in immigration laws and regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Communication and Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees regarding onboarding, immigration, and cultural integration.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of onboarding processes and immigration matters.
- Collaborate with HR, legal, and other departments to address any issues or concerns related to new hires.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, onboarding, or a related role, with specific experience in immigration and visa processes.
- Strong knowledge of international immigration laws, visa requirements, and cultural integration practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
- Proficiency in relevant onboarding tools that can be implemented here at Rewaa.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multicultural and international environment.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) or Immigration Law.
- Multilingual capabilities.
